Welcome to Hair Volution! I am Shay, and I have been a licensed hairdresser in Houston since 2005, so I know the struggles with your hair in Houston's humidity. Being a local Houstonian, I received my education at the well-known Franklin Beauty College and attend regular education classes to keep up with my techniques. I keep my clients styles current by following the latest trends that are set by celebrities and other trendsetters. I prefer to use Influance products because they do not have all the harsh chemicals that can be damaging to your hair. Although, Influance is my preferred product line, I do also use other professional products such as Keracare, Design Essentials and a few others that I feel will achieve your desired look. If you are looking for a stylist that specializes in short trendy cuts, color, marcel curls, extensions and relaxers then I am your girl! I am also known for a killer silk press and color on natural hair that will get your friends talking about your healthy soft natural tresses. I pride myself on keeping a super clean and organized private salon suite that will help you get away from everything and relax.
